With tranquil weather year-round and some of the most unique beaches in the world, Big Island Hawaii is an awesome place to vacation and live full or part time. Hawaii living offers a little something for everyone. That is why I moved from the mainland to the Big Island of Hawaii to make it my home. More About The Big Island 

The Big Island of Hawaii contains 8 of 13 different ecosystems in the world, which makes the island of Hawaii a very special and unique place to live and play. These ecosystems range from tropical dry forests, grasslands, lava tubes to windswept coastal dunes, from snowy mountain ranges, to underground pools that lead to the ocean.

 

 

Some of the most recognizable and unique attractions on the Big Island are the black sand and green sand beaches. The island of Hawaii is a hiker's paradise with so much diverse topography to enjoy. Life on the Big Island is second to none when it comes to adventure and family friendly living. Its laid back way of life make the Big Island Hawaii, the premier destination for just about everyone.

Volcano National Park is one of the most visited attractions/destinations on the island. The park is awe inspiring and majestic, not to mention you can view some amazing lava rock and lava rock formations around. Hiking the area is also an attractive thought. You should place it on your bucket list.

The Big Island of Hawaii is larger than all the other Hawaiian Islands combined with more than 4000 square miles of land, however the population of the island is less than 200,000 people, making the Big Island of Hawaii a peaceful destination to live and play.
